Talk Title: Bi-directional communication between neuronal systems and electrochemical devices
Taek Dong Chung is a tenured professor in the department of chemistry at Seoul National University(SNU), Seoul, South Korea. He is a renowned scholar in the field of electroanalytical chemistry, who released though more than 200 international publications and many patents. His research is focusing on the electrochemistry within an extremely small space, i.e. several nm scale, in which molecules behave in significantly different manners. He is working on iontronics, ionic circuitry operating on the basis of aqueous charge transport, and seamless neuro-electronic interface through electrochemical way. He is leading the electrochemistry research group at SNU and serving as an editor of Journal of Electroanlytical Chemistry.
